DIGITAL STORY 


 Hi everyone! It's nice to see you again. Today I will talk about my first digital story experience.Me and my friends (Arda, Yiğit) created a digital story. Our teacher gave us three options and we decided on a topic about public service advertisement. We decided on to make blood donation advertisement. As you know, the are always a need for blood and we should make donations. It's not only for our health, also for the others'. 

The process was not hard. Everyone in the group had their own duties. Yiğit for example created the animation and Arda and me edited the animation and added our own voices.The only thing that I can say which was hard is editing the video. I have never edited a video so it was my first experience.

In the future I will give such tasks to my students. It's important for their creativity and multimedia literacy.

MY FIRST PODCASTING EXPERIENCE  Hi everyone. Today I will talk about my first podcasting experience. Our teacher gave us some choices and I chose the one that could be done individually. The task was 'How can we improve our world?' and we were assigned to do it exactly in 60 seconds. The hardest thing was managing the time but, I enjoyed it.  I used vocaroo to record my voice and save it. The process was easy however, listening your own voice is not something that I like. My topic was about economical things. I think the world that was balanced in econmical things would be a better place. I talked about this for 60 seconds. Finally, I think podcasting is good in terms of students' speaking skills because most people are not good at speaking English especially L2 learners are afraid of talking English and this work is very benefical for this problem.   THE END IT WAS FUN  Hi everyone. This is my final post for this course. I have learned many things this semester.This course enhanced my creativity and 21st century skills. First, we started to write blogs. I wasn't experienced before. It was fun. I would make my students blog as well. Thanks to this course I have experienced many things like wikis,podcasting and so on. This course showed me that we can use blogs for ELT and it is very effective. We are living in a digital era so integration of technology into learning is cruical.Bloggin were effective for us. Among the tasks that were given to us, I can say that digital story is my favourite one. I enjoyed it a lot. Also, it is important for people so that is the one of the reasons that I like it. Thanks to our teacher for everything she added me a lot. Also thanks to my friends as well we did many thins together and we spent times together. Thanks for everything...  Take care :)
